About the Artist
Kenn and his family live in downtown Puyallup, Washington. Retired from a background of business marketing and retail management, Kenn now works full-time doing what he's always wanted to do... paint. He says, "Leaving your mark is important and it is truly a blessing when what you do for a living completely facilitates that goal."

I asked Kenn to tell me a little more about himself . . . I was raised in Hibbing and Grand Rapids. My Mother still lives about 15 miles north of Grand Rapids. My Father died one year ago and he loved fishing, especially darkhouse fishing. I've always wanted to do this series of darkhouse paintings, but when my father died I knew I had to stop talking about doing it and start painting . . .
		Oils Kenn has dedicated himself to memorializing his boyhood memories of ice fishing with his father. His memories are the same memories many of us had growing up in the beautiful north land. He captures not only his memories in vivid oil colors, but all of ours.
